Armed Foces Day took  place in Nuneaton, where the 30th Signal Regiment comprised partly of Gurkas are based in nearby Bramcote Barracks. The Gurkhas have a long traddition with Nuneaton, with over five hundred ex-servicemen and their families now living there. Many of the Gurkha families came out into the centre of the town to take part in the Armed Forces Day, bringing the town alive with their native Nepalese dancing and unique musical band.
