French artists' Les Studios de Cirque presented the UK premiere of Place des Anges, soaring more than 30 metres over the audience in Piccadilly Circus, London, a group of renegate angels played in the sky and began to shed their wings. Finally, the audience was showered in 1.5 tonnes of feathers. Place des Anges was created by Stéphane Girard and founder of cult circus troupe Archaos, Pierrot Bidon.
