A Metropolitan Police officer has been assaulted after a vehicle pursuit in West Hendon. A man decamped from the vehicle and was located by an officer in an alleyway on Park Road. A struggle ensued, and the officer was seriously assaulted. The suspect fled the scene prior to police back up arriving. Police tape forms a cordon across an an alleyway on Park Road, evidence markers and a bag with unknown items sit on the ground at the rear. A Metropolitan Police officer has been assaulted after a vehicle pursuit in West Hendon. A man decamped from the vehicle and was located by an officer in an alleyway on Park Road. A struggle ensued, and the officer was seriously assaulted. The suspect fled the scene prior to police back up arriving.
