More than thirty-five thousand knitted and crocheted poppies have been tied to church railings and walls around Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
The town's 'yarnbombers' have done it to mark Remembrance Day.
The poppies have been knitted by ladies in the town and helped by knitters around the world.
The knitted and crocheted flowers can be seen at St Mary's Church in Thirsk and St Oswald's Church in Sowerby and along the Remembrance Day parade route.
