Trees in Festival Gardens being coloured 'blue' using a tree safe colourant. By colouring the trees blue, Trees for Cities want people to stop and 'notice' the trees, which are so often taken for granted. The installation will raise awareness of the significant decline of our city trees over the last decade, and the threats they face from climate change, pests and diseases.
