QUEEN MARY RETURNS HOME

The 1933-built vessel is the Clyde's last and Britain's finest turbine excursion steamer. She came to the Thames in 1981 but has languished in Tilbury docks for years. The Friends of TS Mary Queen was formed with Robbie Coltrane as patron and, following a fundraising campaign, purchased the ship. The ship is now returning home under tow ahead of a full restoration.
