Superyacht visits London

© Licensed to London News Pictures. 29/03/2018. London, UK. A man looks at the 220ft custom luxury superyacht, ‘Global’ moored at Butlers Wharf near Tower Bridge during a London visit. Previously named, Kismet during her last central London visit, she underwent a refit which saw her moved up 51 places in Boat International’s list of top 200 largest super yachts in the world, boasting numerous luxuries such as a helipad, cinema and jacuzzi. Believed to be owned by Fulham Football Club chairman, Shahid Khan, Global can be chartered for an estimated £1m per week. Powered by 2 Caterpillar (3512 B) 2,038hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screws propellers, Global is capable of a top speed of 15.5 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. .
