Japanese Training Squadron arrives in Portsmouth

The 151-metre long destroyer JS Makinami (112) from the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) arriving in Portsmouth this morning, 25th August 2018. This vessel and the 143-metre long cadet training vessel JS Kashima (3508) have recently conducted a passing exercise (PASSEX) with Standing NATO Maritime Group One (SNMG1) in the Baltic Sea.
