The year 2020 marks the year of the Rat, the first of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese Zodiac; the Rat is highly revered for its adaptability, intelligence, positivity and cunning. The event celebrates Chinese New Year with a day of food, music and traditional Chinese New style year celebrations including the traditional lion dance with the University of Bristol Chinese Lion Dance Troupe. 2020 marks the fourth year of WokyFest, created by Larkin Cen, Chef/Owner of three Woky Ko restaurants in Bristol and a Woky Ko street food stall in St Nicholas Market, Bristol.
