Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Democrats Nick Clegg and his wife Miriam González Durántez visit a primary school in Chippenham to campaign alongside local candidate Duncan Hames (right). They visited Ivy Lane Primary School to meet pupils and teachers. They helped to prepare and serve lunch at the school before talking to staff about how pupils are benefiting from the Pupil Premium and capital funding to support the provision of universal free school meals. The Liberal Democrats have set out education funding as a red line and would not enter coalition with any party that does not agree to protect per pupil funding from nursery to 19, in real terms.
