With the Duchess of Cambridge about to give birth, staff at the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home have given 7 abandoned kittens royal names with the best odds. The 8-week-old kittens were found in a bin in North London and were named: tabbies: Alexandra 6/4, Victoria 9/1, Charlotte 6/1, Elizabeth 10/1, Grace 25/1, James 6/1 and black cat George 11/2. Each kitten will be celebrated at a special Kitten Shower at the centre, open to the public, on Saturday 27 July 2013. Photo credit: Bettina Strenske/LNP
