The vans, needed for food deliveries during the coronavirus crisis, were set on fire last night after disturbances broke out in the Southmead area of Bristol at around 9.30pm after the Prime Minister spoke to the nation on TV and announced a lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus, with the biggest restrictions on freedom of movement ever imposed in the UK. People are told to stay at home except for essential work that cannot be done at home, shopping for food, medical appointments and taking exercise once a day all while maintaining social distance.
