Stonehenge experiment in London

UCL students attempt to move a one tonne block strapped to a neolithic wooden sledge in an investigation of the technology used to build prehistoric monuments such as Stonehenge, in Gordon Square, London on Monday, 23 May 2016. The block weighs approximately half as much as the smallest bluestone at Stonehenge and the experiment is part of the UCL Festival of Culture - a week long free festival of events which runs from Monday 23rd - Friday 27th May.
