Soldiers from the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery rehearse their world-famous musical drive near the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, south east London during sunny spring weather as they prepare for their annual inspection tomorrow. Royal duties of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery include firing Royal and ceremonial salutes on state occasions. The Musical Drive is one of the most spectacular displays of horsemanship in the world involving risk laden complex choreographed moves with split second timing. The Guns in the Troop display all saw service in the First World War. Each Gun and limber weighs 1.5 tonnes, has no brakes. Photo credit: Vickie Flores/LNP
