England is under a national lockdown, sometimes known as lockdown 2.0, as the UK Government tries to stop the spread of the covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. From 05 November lockdown restrictions came into force across England with all pubs, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues shut as well as all non-essential shops. People have been told to stay at home except for work, education, exercise or essential shopping and each person can only meet one other person from outside their household in an outdoors public space.
