A light projection reading 'WE CAN'T BREATHE' is cast onto the shell of Grenfell Tower in West London on the eve of the second phase of the Grenfell Tower Fire Inquiry. The slogan echoes the words spoken on the night recorded on calls to emergency services and loved ones begging for help that never came.
Abbas Dadou, Chairman of Lancaster West Estate Residents Association comprising 800 homes and 2000 residents said "We stand in solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones in their fight for justice. They are us and we are with them. They are part of our community and their fight for justice is our fight." El Alami Hamdan who lost his daughter and his grandchildren in the fire said "how long must we wait for justice? It has been three years and still nothing. They promise everything and they do nothing.'
A press conference will be held this morning ahead of the Inquiry resuming, where the following statement will be released at 10am:

We are no longer going to keep silent. We demand justice. We want prosecutions. We are not willing to wait as these words echo in our heads everyday.
