Police enter 2nd Bristol squat to arrest peopleDownload

Squatters can be seen with banners and graffiti on the tower of the former Salvation Army building on Dean Lane in Bedminster as police mounted a major operation to enter the squat and arrested 3 people suspected of criminal activity connected with the squatted occupation of buildings in High Street in Bristol city centre which was repossessed earlier this morning by Bailiffs accompanied by around 100 police, but those occupying the buildings in High Street had already left. Those arrested at the Salvation Army building are a 40-year-old man on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and escaping lawful custody, a 26-year-old man on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and escaping lawful custody, and a woman on suspicion of affray.
