A Halloween display called "House of Horrors" by Mark Davenport from Fishponds in Bristol has a Halloween pirate ghost ship in his front garden. He describes it as a half-sized pirate ship, 18ft long in a 20ft long front garden. Mr Davenport does a Halloween display each year and said last year more than 1,500 people visited his house to see his display. Halloween displays are seen around Bristol during the covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. A list of displays has been collated and put on Facebook with a map for people to follow by Halloween fan Natasha Wood who has set up the Facebook group Halloween displays in Bristol when she realised trick or treating would be different this year due to the covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. The government has advised against trick or treating but stopped short of actually banning it. Any Halloween parties must abide by the "rule of six" in tier one areas such as Bristol.
